Yeast cell factory for mRNA bioproduction

Yscript Consortium With Active Contribution to Leading mRNA Research Summit

From 26 to 28 July, the flagship event for mRNA-based vaccine and drug discovery, the mRNA-Based Therapeutics Summit, will take place in Boston, USA. Yscript is pleased to be there with two partners to share our latest insights and engage with the expert community.

On 27 July, 2 pm, Yscript project coordinator Prof. Chantal Pichon from CNRS (University of Orleans) will give a presentation on "mRNA Bioproduction" during the plenary session "Improving Cost Effectiveness of mRNA Production & Cold-Chain Storage Requirements for the Ultimate Supply Chain" and address the following exciting questions:

  • How can we reduce the supply chain for a cost-effective process?
  • How can we maintain quality in the bio process?
  • What are the main challenges to overcome?

One day later, on 28 July, 10:30 am, Dr Aleš Štrancar, Managing Director of our partner Sartorius (BIA Separations), will take the stage for his presentation on "Speeding mRNA Process Development & Securing Robust Manufacturing by Using Fast in-Process Analytics" during the plenary session "Driving the Vision of the mRNA Regulatory Environment for First-in-Class Therapeutics & Best-in-Class Vaccines". Aleš will outline the following topics:

  • Overview of chromatographic toolbox for in-process analytics of mRNA process development and manufacturing
  • Enabling continuous IVT by using PATfix analytics
  • New analytical tools for characterisation and optimisation of mRNA LNP formation
